On Friday, 11-06-09 at 6:00 AM ET. The EUR – German Factory Orders MoM and YoY reports were released.
The German Factory Orders reports are released on a monthly basis by Deutsche Bundesbank.
I posted a “preview” of those reports, click here for a review.
Here is how things went:
EUR – German Factory Orders MoM stats:
Previous = 1.4% revision = 2.1%
Forecast = 1.0%
Actual = 0.9%
Bad – lower then the “forecast” by 0.1%, lower then the “previous” by 0.5%, and lower then the revised “previous” by 1.2 %.
It was not enough of a surprise to the trading market to cause any movement of the “charts”, there was no real “currency” action.

a one minute EUR/USD chart
Only one currency pair showed any life – EUR/ USD – it did nothing for the 1st 6 minutes, then moved down the next 54 minutes about 30 PIPS – right direction!
I did not enter a trade!
The next scheduled release of this report is on Friday, 12-04-09 at 6:00 AM ET.
I will probably post a “preview” a day or two prior.
Remember, “Past performances are not an indication of future results!
Stay tuned!
